Bonnie Slykhuis

MSE Training & Development, CH, CI

Bonnie holds a BA in Biology and Secondary Education from Central College and an MSE in Adult Education/Training & Development from Drake University. Bonnie is a Certified Hypnotist and Certified Instructor through the National Guild of Hypnotists. She obtained her initial certification through the Sylvia Brown Hypnosis Training Center (SBHTC) and now specializes in past life regression. She has also trained with William Mitchell (Mitchell Institute of Professional Hypnosis), Sean Michael Andrews (World’s Fastest Hypnotist), Geoffrey Ronning (Stage Hypnosis Center), The Incredible Richard Barker, and Don Spencer. In addition to hypnosis, Bonnie is a published author and an independent Lean Trainer and Consultant. She has 20+ years of experience designing and delivering Lean/continuous improvement training for various organizations, including manufacturing, higher education, K-12 education, government, service, and nonprofits throughout the country, helping them improve efficiency. Bonnie also holds certifications in Leadership programs (DDI, Achieve Global, and Logic Opera) and is a Qualified Instructor for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

Kim Marie Molloy

RN MSN CHI CH Karuna Reiki Master

Kim earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Drake University and, later, her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from San Francisco State University. Kim’s graduate research focused on Staff/Client Education and Obstetrics with clinical experiences at Stanford University Hospitals, Oakland Children’s Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente Hospitals in the San Francisco Peninsula. Kim moved back to Iowa and worked as an Obstetrics (OB) nurse at Skiff Medical Center in Newton and eventually transitioned to Nursing Education, first for Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) and then Mercy College of Health Sciences (MCHS) Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing Program. While at MCHS, Kim utilized her hypnosis skills, helping students with exam success, stress reduction, mindfulness, difficulty sleeping, self-esteem, and confidence.

Between nursing education experiences, Kim was a Hospice Nurse for EveryStep Hospice in Knoxville. She also became a Certified Hypnotherapist (2017) and Certified Hypnosis Instructor (2019) through the National Guild of Hypnotists. Kim has trained in hypnosis with William Mitchell (Mitchell Institute of Professional Hypnosis), Don Mottin (Mottin & Johnson and National Guild of Hypnotists), Sean Michael Andrews (World’s Fastest Hypnotist), (SleepNow) Don Spencer, and the Incredible Richard Barker.

In 2022, Kim was certified by the International Center for Reiki Training as a Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master by Heidi Morrison (Reiki Healing LLC). Kim often combines hypnosis and Reiki to promote positive wellness and well-being for her clients. In addition to seeing clients, Kim teaches certification classes in both Reiki and Hypnosis.

Jenny Slykhuis-McDowell

D.C., DICCP, CCAc., Dipl. Ac. (IACA), CHt, Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master

Jenny completed her undergraduate work in Biology at The University of Iowa and her postgraduate work at Palmer College of Chiropractic, earning her BS and DC degrees. In 2008, she completed a Diplomate in Pediatrics and Pregnancy (DICCP) through Palmer College and completed 100 hours in Dynamic Body Balancing with Dr. Carol Phillips. In 2012, She completed a Certification and then finished with a diploma in Acupuncture [Ac. Dipl.(IACA)] in 2013 through Logan College of Chiropractic. Dr. Jenny has been ACT-certified through Ulan Nutritional Systems for Nutrition Response Testing since 2009. As a hypnotherapist, Jenny is certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists and has trained with Sylvia Brown Hypnosis Training Center (SBHTC), William Mitchell (Mitchell Institute of Professional Hypnosis), Sean Michael Andrews (World’s Fastest Hypnotist), Geoffrey Ronning (Stage Hypnosis Center), The Incredible Richard Barker, and Don Spencer. In 2022, Dr. Jenny was certified by the International Center for Reiki Training as a Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master by Heidi Morrison (Reiki Healing LLC). She is the owner/operator of Precision Chiropractic Clinic in Knoxville, Iowa, which was established in 2000.

Scott Molloy

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science from Drake University in biochemistry and computer science. He is currently employed as a research assistant at Corteva Agriscience in Johnston, IA.  Scott earned his hypnosis certification from the National Guild of Hypnotists as a senior in high school in 2017 and performed his first comedy hypnosis show at his own graduation party. His wife, Shannon, also became certified a few years later in 2019. Scott is a veteran of the stage and enjoys providing family friendly entertainment to all types of groups. He and Shannon are expecting their first child in spring of 2025.

Tammy Guild

Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master, CH

Tammy is a new addition to the Wellness Center but a veteran when it comes to holistic approaches and helping others. She became a certified hypnotist through the National Guild of Hypnotists in 2024 at the Wellness Center with Bonnie and Kim as her instructors. In 2010 Tammy started her journey with energy and spirit modalities. She was certified by the International Center for Reiki Training as a Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master by Heidi Morrison. She often combines her teachings to offer a mind, body, spirit experience.

Tammy completed a three year spiritual direction training which included a year-long practicum through the Mind & Spirit Counseling Center (formerly the Des Moines Pastoral Counseling Center) in 2016. In addition to spiritual companioning, she has been a lay leader in her faith community for 25 years. Tammy offers a wellspring of spiritual depth to the healing journey.  In each of her roles, she is grateful for the privilege of hearing the unique stories of others. She honors each person's journey, coming alongside those companioning with compassion, non-judgement, hope and respect. She seeks to cultivate compassionate space for all to explore and live more fully into their innate wholeness.

Ralph Bright

BS, MBA in Business Administration, CH

Ralph holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from William Penn University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Currently, he serves as Vice President of Marketing and Information Technology at Interpower Corporation and Tassel Ridge Winery, where he has been employed for the past three decades.

In 2024, Ralph obtained his hypnosis certification from the National Guild of Hypnotists at the Wellness Center, where he was instructed by Bonnie and Kim. Ralph embarked on his spiritual journey of self-discovery and enlightenment in 2006. He enjoys helping clients with smoking cessation, weight management, and past life regressions. 



In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his 5 kids, 13 grandkids, his wife, Emily, and their bloodhound, Lucy.
